Breaking Up Thanksgiving 2012 will be held at the Irish American Heritage Center in Chicago (4626 North Knox Avenue). The wooden floors are beautiful, the bar is friendly, and the space is spectacular! Plus, parking is free and plentiful, and it's a short walk from public transportation.
Housing, provided by our dance community, is available upon request. Please contact us if you need a place to stay. Alternatively, the Renaissance Hotel O'Hare is close by (20 minutes via car, 30 minutes via 'L') and has offered us a group rate (if you book by November 3rd). These rooms are suites and sleep up to 6 people. Follow this link for details and to make a reservation. Please note that hotel parking is an additional $15 per day, not included in the price of the room.
We've put together a list of nearby places to eat. We're offering a catered Saturday dinner at the Heritage Center. If you're interested, you must register in advance by November 19th.
